At Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi this evening, a ceremony was held to hand over humanitarian aid from the Russian Federation to Vietnam to help overcome the consequences of Typhoon No. 3 (Typhoon Yagi), with the participation of the Russian Chargé d'affaires ad interim in Vietnam, Ivan Sergeevich Nesterov.

At 7 PM that same day, a special aircraft from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations landed at the airport, carrying 35 tons of humanitarian aid, including a mobile power station, food, and essential supplies.

Earlier, Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the United Russia Party and Deputy Chairman of the Federal Security Council of Russia, sent his condolences to the families and relatives of those who died as a result of Typhoon No. 3, and wished the victims a speedy recovery.
