Riot police assisted in relocating dozens of households from deeply flooded areas in Da Nang.

On the night of October 28th, due to prolonged heavy rain causing severe flooding in many low-lying areas of Hoa Tien commune (Da Nang city), Special Task Force No. 3 (Mobile Police Command) promptly deployed forces and coordinated with local authorities to assist in relocating residents to safe areas.

Under the direct command of Colonel Phung Toan Thang – Head of the rescue team, from 10 PM to 4 AM the following morning, officers and soldiers used canoes, life jackets, and specialized equipment to access each heavily flooded area in Le Son 2, Cam Ne, and An Trach villages. Despite the heavy rain, the rescue team promptly evacuated 24 people from the dangerous areas, including a pregnant woman, a young child with a high fever, an elderly person with paralysis, and many other elderly people, women, and children.

Colonel Phung Toan Thang – Head of Special Police Task Force No. 3 – directly commanded and coordinated with local forces to organize rescue and evacuation of people from flooded areas.

Thanks to seamless coordination, a sense of responsibility, and flexible rescue plans, all residents in the flooded area were safely evacuated during the night.

Officers and soldiers of Special Police Unit No. 3 (Mobile Police Command) carried residents out of deeply flooded areas on the night of October 28 in Hoa Tien commune, Da Nang city.

Authorities worked throughout the night, guiding and assisting residents in evacuating from flood-affected areas in Hoa Tien commune.

Mobile police officers and soldiers helped elderly people cross areas with deep floodwaters, ensuring absolute safety during the evacuation process.

Mobile police forces assisted residents in boarding canoes to move to safety during heavy rain.

Currently, Special Police Task Force No. 3 continues to be stationed in the area, ready to assist residents in responding to the complex weather developments in the coming days.
