(NLDO) - Through checking cameras around the scene, it was determined that the victim was lying on the highway and was run over by a truck.
On the evening of January 11, the leader of the People's Committee of Vinh Cuong commune (Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong province) said that the authorities are verifying and investigating the case of a man who died and had his body deformed on the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway, passing through the commune.

Previously, at around 5:30 a.m. on January 11, at Km 71 + 700 of the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway, from Hanoi to Hai Phong, in Vinh Cuong commune, during a patrol, the Traffic Police Department discovered a male corpse in lane 3 with a deformed head.
Immediately after receiving the report, Thanh Ha District Police and other functional forces promptly arrived at the scene, conducted an investigation, requested a forensic autopsy, identified the victim, and searched for information on related road vehicles.
Initial identification of the victim is NVT (born in 1996, residing in Dong Kinh commune, Dong Hung district, Thai Binh province). At the foot of the expressway, near the scene, a motorbike with license plate 17B3 – 718.xx was found intact, parked on the road.

Through checking cameras around the scene, it was determined that the victim drove a motorbike to the highway access road, then climbed up to the Km 71+700 area, lay down on the road and was hit and run over by a truck (information unknown).
After completing the procedures, the victim's body was handed over to the family to take home for funeral arrangements.
