Couple runs a bar "selling drinks outside, prostitution inside"

(Dan Tri) - A couple in Song Hinh district ( Phu Yen province) opened a refreshment shop but the main purpose was not to sell drinks to customers, but to provide prostitution.

On December 28, the People's Procuracy of Song Hinh district (Phu Yen province) approved the decision to prosecute the accused Tran Hai Thach (54 years old) and Bui Thi Tam (41 years old, both residing in Ea Bia commune, Song Hinh district), for the crime of Prostitution.

According to the initial investigation results, in September, this couple opened Quoc Tuan beverage shop in Nhum village, Ea Bia commune. On the outside, the shop operates as a beverage establishment, but inside, there are 4 rooms arranged for the purpose of serving prostitution activities.

Thach met and negotiated with 3 prostitutes to "cooperate" to earn money through this activity. The agreed price for prostitution was 400,000 VND/time, of which Thach would receive 100,000 VND. If the customer wanted to stay overnight, the price would be 1.2 million VND/night, and Thach would earn 200,000 VND.

On the afternoon of December 22, three men went to Quoc Tuan cafe to buy sex. While they were in the act of buying and selling sex, the Investigation Police Department of Song Hinh District Police caught them red-handed.
