According to records, the railing was broken and the railway rails on the bridge were shifted.

The Hanoi - Hai Phong train then had to stop to drop off passengers at Thuong Ly station instead of Hai Phong station as scheduled.

At the same time, the information to all passengers of the Hai Phong - Hanoi train early morning 7/7 will depart from Thuong Ly station instead of Hai Phong station. Currently, the unit is waiting for information from the Quay Bridge repair team to notify passengers further.

Currently, Hai Phong City authorities are investigating and clarifying this incident. At the same time, they are urgently repairing it to soon bring the Hai Phong - Hanoi railway back to normal operation.

According to people present at the scene of the accident, when the barge turned under the Quay bridge, the water level rose. This could be the reason why the barge collided with the bridge .
