" No club has ever won the V.League without players receiving bonuses. The players and coaching staff of the Hanoi Police Club were really shocked by this. I have done everything I can to touch the compassion and honor of the players so that they can compete without receiving bonuses, " coach Tran Tien Dai shared at a press conference after the match with Hanoi FC.
The head coach of the Hanoi Police Club revealed that the entire team did not receive bonuses after winning the 2023 V.League championship. Mr. Dai hopes that the leadership will change this view this season.

In round 3 of V.League 2023/2024, coach Tran Tien Dai and Hanoi Police Club defeated Hanoi FC 2-0. Fialho Junior and Geovane Magno were the two players who scored.
This is also the last match of Coach Tran Tien Dai as Head Coach of Hanoi Police Club. Coach Gong Oh-kyun will take over the position left by Mr. Dai.
" My task when I came to Hanoi Police Club was to build departments, assign tasks to everyone in the team and ensure the team met the 5 criteria of AFC professional football. After this process, the board of directors wanted me to do professional work. I have been out of football for too long, my intelligence is not the same as before, but I accepted the task because I was the one who invited the players and coaching staff here, " said Mr. Tran Tien Dai.
Mr. Dai expects Hanoi FC to play better under new coach Gong Oh-kyun. He added: " My position is to advise the team president. The president also understands my health. Whether I retire or continue working at the team, I will do my best to hand over the work to the new coaching staff. I hope the team will be more orderly and have more structure. The leadership wants me to support them wholeheartedly ."
After 3 matches, Hanoi Police Club is temporarily in second place with 7 points. They are 2 points behind the leading team, Nam Dinh Club.
