Cuc Phuong National Park, established in 1962, spans three provinces: Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh , and Thanh Hoa, covering a total area of 22,408 hectares deep within the Tam Diep mountain range. With its many valuable natural landscapes and biodiversity, Cuc Phuong has long been an ideal ecotourism destination for both domestic and international visitors.

Cuc Phuong National Park currently boasts 2,234 plant species, accounting for 17.27% of Vietnam's total plant species. Hidden deep within the Cuc Phuong forest are countless tree species with a diverse ecosystem, making us feel as if we have entered a pristine world of majestic, enduring greenery.
In particular, Cuc Phuong forest currently has many large, ancient trees, some thousands of years old, which are symbols of Cuc Phuong forest, such as: the Shorea spp., the Terminalia spp., the fragrant fig tree, the green Shorea spp.
During our exploration of Cuc Phuong National Park, we can see firsthand an ancient banyan tree standing in the middle of the old forest, approximately 45 meters tall and 5 meters in diameter. Having survived for thousands of years, the tree still stands tall and lush amidst the mountains and forests, making it an attractive destination for visitors to Cuc Phuong.
