At about 3:10 p.m. on October 22, at the household of Mr. Sung Seo (Lang Co village, Phong Nien commune), a serious house fire broke out, causing the death of Sung AT (born 2020).
The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit causing a house fire.
It is known that T.'s parents work far away, and he lives at home with his grandparents. When the fire broke out, he was sleeping in the house while his grandparents were away.
Bao Thang district police and Phong Nien commune authorities mobilized forces to extinguish the fire.
On the evening of October 22, Phong Nien commune leaders said they had mobilized local forces to rescue and support the family whose house was on fire. Currently, Bao Thang district authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
