Restaurant fire with loud explosion

(VLO) A fire broke out at KIMHOAFOOD restaurant on Phan Van Dang street (Ward 8, Vinh Long city), at around 7:30 a.m. on August 8.

The fire started in the warehouse and spread to the kitchen.

According to nearby residents, at first they saw black smoke rising, the fire broke out in the restaurant's warehouse, then spread to the kitchen with many loud explosions.

Fire Prevention and Rescue Police mobilized 5 fire trucks and many officers and soldiers.

Receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force, Provincial Police dispatched 5 specialized vehicles and many officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force, Vinh Long City Police to the scene.

Firefighters and rescuers worked hard to put out the fire.

After more than 1 hour of fire fighting, the fire was completely extinguished. Currently, the authorities are organizing a scene investigation to clarify the cause of the fire.
