Check-in at the buckwheat flower garden in Quang Nam, feeling like you're 'lost' in Ha Giang

A newly opened buckwheat flower garden in Tam Ky city ( Quang Nam province) attracts hundreds of visitors every day.

In recent days, Ca Ban flower village in Tam Ngoc commune (Tam Ky city) has attracted many young people and tourists to check in. The flower garden covers 1,500 square meters, with three main flower species: buckwheat, cosmos, and sunflowers.

The model of growing buckwheat flowers for tourism purposes at Ca Ban ecological village was implemented by Master's degree holder Trieu Thy Hoa (lecturer at Quang Nam University), as part of the Tam Ky City agricultural economic development project for the period 2022 - 2025.

Ms. Trieu Thy Hoa brought buckwheat flower seeds from Ha Giang to Quang Nam to plant in January 2024. In addition to buckwheat flowers, she also grows sunflowers and cosmos flowers to serve community tourism and tourists.

This place has become a new tourist attraction in Tam Ky City, drawing hundreds of visitors every day.

She hired a photographer to capture moments with the buckwheat flowers in full bloom. "I was quite surprised that this flower could be successfully grown in Quang Nam. I even rented a traditional outfit from the ethnic minorities in the Northwest. Visiting the buckwheat flower garden, I felt like I had wandered into Ha Giang," Ms. Tinh said.
