Khanh Hoa Chairman calls on investors to write a new promising chapter

The Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee wrote a letter calling on the people, officials, civil servants, public employees, businesses and investors to join together in writing a new promising chapter for a Khanh Hoa that will steadily rise, prosper and flourish.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh presented the decision to Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

On July 1, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, sent a letter calling on the people, cadres, civil servants, public employees, the business community and investors in Khanh Hoa province after Ninh Thuan and Khanh Hoa became "one house", taking the new administrative name after the merger as Khanh Hoa province.

Accordingly, Mr. Nam said, implementing Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 dated June 12, 2025 of the National Assembly on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units and Resolution No. 1667/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units of Khanh Hoa province.

Accordingly, Ninh Thuan province merged with Khanh Hoa province to establish a new Khanh Hoa province with 65 commune-level administrative units (including 48 communes, 16 wards, 1 special zone) and officially operated under a synchronous 2-level local government model (province and commune) from July 1, 2025.

Mr. Nam said that this merger will not only help streamline the administrative apparatus, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, but more importantly, it will open up a new vision, a great opportunity for us to work together to build a more prosperous, civilized and modern Khanh Hoa province. This great goal will not be successful without the joint efforts and consensus of all the people in the province.

With all sincere feelings and deep belief in the future development of the province, the Chairman of Khanh Hoa province calls on all people, cadres, civil servants, public employees, business community and investors in the province to promote the tradition of patriotism, sense of responsibility, and unanimously support this important policy of restructuring the apparatus and administrative units.

“I understand that any major change will come with certain concerns and worries, and there will certainly be difficulties and unfamiliarity during the transition period. However, with the spirit of solidarity, resilience and the inherent resilience of the People, we will overcome all challenges together. We pledge to do our utmost to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of every citizen, cadre, civil servant, public employee and enterprise throughout the transition process; implement timely and practical support policies to help people quickly stabilize their lives and work; increase information and dialogue to listen to and answer all questions and concerns of citizens in a public and transparent manner,” Mr. Nam wrote.
