Speaking at the event, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his pleasure and congratulated the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park on its initial but very important achievements.

The Chairman of the National Assembly stated that, in the past, when mentioning Thai Binh, people thought of it as a rice-growing region, the hometown of "Sister Hai Nam Tan," but today Thai Binh is undergoing transformation, experiencing rapid economic and industrial development. The current development mindset of Thai Binh is different, simultaneously consolidating the role of agriculture as a pillar and leveraging the local advantages, especially the strong influence of the Hanoi - Quang Ninh - Hai Phong development corridors...

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized that Thai Binh's position has changed and will change even more if it knows how to take advantage of development opportunities from the Economic Zone, and this will be the basis for Thai Binh to promote socio-economic development in the future.

Emphasizing the two centenary goals set by the Party in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress, the Chairman of the National Assembly assessed that Thai Binh has achieved a relatively high economic growth rate in recent years, ranking among the top in the country.

However, given its modest economic scale and challenging starting point, in order to catch up and progress alongside other developed localities nationwide, the Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that Thai Binh province must accelerate its growth even further, aiming for double-digit growth each year.

The Chairman of the National Assembly highly appreciated the planning and development orientation of the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, which has linked industrialization with urbanization and services. This is an important development model, placed within the overall Thai Binh Economic Zone with an area of approximately 30,000 hectares. Stating that the "large-scale structure" is already in place, providing a good foundation for development, the Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized the importance of implementation and expressed his hope that investors who have committed to investing will focus on implementing their projects as effectively as possible.

The Speaker of the National Assembly stated that, when approving the land use plan, the National Assembly allowed the Government, when necessary, to report to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly to adjust the industrial land quotas for localities that performed well.

When the Government submits the proposal, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will consider and decide immediately because the legal framework is already in place and this adjustment is necessary to improve the efficiency of land use, thereby helping localities accelerate development, create more jobs for people, and contribute to the overall development of the country.

The Chairman of the National Assembly also requested the Management Board of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park and Thai Binh Economic Zone to focus on effectively implementing tasks, orientations, and development strategies, making the operation of the Industrial Park and Economic Zone truly flourish; and at the same time, to take good care of implementing policies for workers and employees.

At the industrial park, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue presented 200 gifts to workers and families of policy beneficiaries in the area.

The Chairman of the National Assembly cordially inquired about the employment situation and the material and spiritual lives of the workers and laborers here; he hoped that everyone would continue to work actively and enthusiastically, both to increase their income for themselves and their families, and to contribute to the development of the country and their homeland; he wished the workers, laborers, and their families much luck, good health, and success in their work as they prepare to celebrate the New Year and the traditional Tet holiday.

The delegation also visited and inspected the production situation of OHSUNG VINA Thai Binh Co., Ltd. (Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park) - a company that manufactures components for all parts used in LED/OLED displays produced by LG Display.

The Chairman of the National Assembly expressed his wish for pioneering businesses to build ecosystems, link with domestic and foreign businesses to create supporting industrial products, build value chains, continue to develop, increase revenue, create jobs for many workers, and contribute to the development of the Thai Binh Economic Zone.

Earlier that morning, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the delegation offered incense and flowers in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Temple and the Monument of President Ho Chi Minh with Vietnamese Farmers in Thai Binh Square, Hoang Dieu Ward, Thai Binh City.
