National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue visits and presents Tet gifts to policy families and workers in Thai Binh

Speaking here, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his joy and congratulated the initial but very important results of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park.

The National Assembly Chairman said that in the past, when mentioning Thai Binh, people were referring to the rice-growing land, the homeland of "Ms. Hai Nam Tan", but Thai Binh today is transforming, with rapid economic and industrial development. The current development mindset of Thai Binh is different, both consolidating the supporting role of agriculture and promoting local advantages, especially the spread of very strong development axes Hanoi - Quang Ninh - Hai Phong...

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized that Thai Binh's position has changed and will be even more different if it knows how to take advantage of development opportunities from the Economic Zone, and this will be the basis for Thai Binh to promote socio-economic development in the future.

Emphasizing the two 100-year goals set forth by our Party in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress, the National Assembly Chairman assessed that Thai Binh has achieved a fairly high economic growth rate in recent years, among the highest in the country.

However, with a modest economic scale and a difficult starting point, in order to overcome, keep up with, and progress with other developed localities in the country, the National Assembly Chairman suggested that Thai Binh province must accelerate further, setting a double-digit growth target each year.

The National Assembly Chairman highly appreciated the planning and development orientation of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, which has linked industrialization with urbanization and services. This is an important development model, located in the overall Thai Binh Economic Zone with an area of ​​about 30 thousand hectares. Believing that the "big group" is already there, the foundation for development is good, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized the implementation work and hoped that investors who have committed to invest will focus on implementing it most effectively.

The National Assembly Chairman said that when approving the Land Use Plan and Plan, the National Assembly allowed the Government to report to the National Assembly Standing Committee to adjust industrial land quotas for localities that perform well when necessary.

When the Government submits, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and decide immediately because the legal foundation is available and this adjustment is necessary to improve the efficiency of land use, thereby helping localities accelerate development, create more jobs for people, and contribute to the overall development of the country.

The National Assembly Chairman also requested the Management Board of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park and Thai Binh Economic Zone to focus on effectively implementing tasks, orientations and development strategies, making the activities of the Industrial Park and Economic Zone truly flourish; at the same time, take good care of implementing policies for workers and laborers.

At the Industrial Park, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue presented 200 gifts to local workers and families of beneficiaries of preferential policies.

The National Assembly Chairman kindly inquired about the employment situation, material and spiritual life of workers and laborers here; hoped that everyone would continue to be active and enthusiastic in working, both to increase income for themselves and their families, and to join hands and contribute to the development of the country and homeland; wished workers, laborers and their families preparing to welcome the New Year, the traditional New Year of the nation, good luck, good health, and much success in work.

The delegation also visited and inspected the production situation of OHSUNG VINA Thai Binh Co., Ltd. (Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park) - a component manufacturing company specializing in producing all components for LED/OLED screens manufactured by LG Display.

The National Assembly Chairman hopes that businesses will take the lead in building ecosystems, linking with domestic and foreign businesses to create supporting industrial products, build value chains, continue to have new developments, increase revenue, create jobs for many workers, and contribute to the development of Thai Binh Economic Zone.

Earlier, on the same morning, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the working delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Uncle Ho Temple and Uncle Ho Monument with Vietnamese farmers at Thai Binh Square, Hoang Dieu Ward, Thai Binh City.
