Focus on school security and safety

When the school environment is guaranteed in terms of security and safety, students will have the best conditions for comprehensive development, both physically, mentally and intellectually, which is a solid foundation for building a quality education. In the 2025-2026 school year, synchronous coordination measures are being proactively implemented by schools, with the active coordination of local authorities, functional sectors and the community.

At Hoang Que Secondary School (Hoang Que Ward), the task of bringing legal knowledge into schools is always focused on. Every year, the school's Board of Directors, each class, and the Parents' Association organize a signing ceremony of a commitment to compete and closely coordinate in enhancing moral and lifestyle education for students. The goal is to accompany and support students in forming the habit of proactively learning about the law, cultivating life skills, and equipping them with knowledge so as not to violate the law due to lack of understanding. At the same time, when they have early orientation, they will have a solid moral foundation and the courage to proactively prevent incitement, enticement, enticement, and deception of bad elements into committing crimes... With that spirit, right in the first days of the new school year 2025-2026, the school's Board of Directors and Hoang Que Ward Police organized a ceremony to sign a coordination regulation in ensuring security, order, school safety, and preventing social evils among students.

Ms. Dinh Thi Ngoc Dung, Principal of Hoang Que Secondary School, said: According to the Coordination Regulations, the two sides will regularly exchange information and coordinate to prevent violations of the law, social evils, and school violence. At the same time, many extracurricular activities and legal education forums will be organized to raise awareness and sense of law compliance for students. With this approach, the school will successfully complete the goal of protecting the legitimate rights of students; preventing and promptly handling security issues, not allowing unfortunate incidents to arise.

In recent times, the Department of Education and Training has closely coordinated with the Provincial Police and relevant agencies and local authorities to strengthen propaganda on ensuring security and safety for schools throughout the province. There are many rich extracurricular activities, suitable to the actual conditions of each locality and unit, which have been effectively implemented, such as: Cultural exchanges (singing, acting...) with the theme of drug prevention; talks with guests who are local police officers; legal knowledge competitions... School Youth Union Executive Committees have increased activities to build school culture; promptly intervened and reconciled risks of violence and conflicts; made compliance with school rules and regulations a factor in emulation and reward evaluation...

Implementing Document No. 1058/UBND-VHXH (dated April 15, 2025) of the Provincial People's Committee "On strengthening the implementation of child protection and prevention of child abuse", schools have increased the review of standards for safe and healthy educational environments; focused on educating students and teachers about gender knowledge and skills to prevent violence and abuse. Provincial levels and sectors also pay great attention to receiving and processing information, notifications, and denunciations of risks and acts of child abuse; resolutely and promptly intervene and strictly handle cases of abuse and acts of concealing violations, and lack of responsibility in handling violations...

In the new school year 2025-2026, the whole province will focus on implementing well the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training in Official Dispatch No. 2470/BGDĐT-HSSV (dated May 20, 2025) "On promoting the work of ensuring security and order, preventing crimes, and preventing law violations in 2025". The direction includes: Organizing the signing of commitments for students not to violate gambling activities, football betting, black credit loans, prostitution, weapons, explosives, firecrackers...; raising vigilance against the methods and tricks of criminals in cyberspace; diversifying forms of propaganda about human trafficking crimes in the form of fraudulent labor export "light work, high salary"...

Building a safe school environment has always been identified as a regular and urgent task; a responsibility that belongs not only to the school, but always requires the support of the whole society.
