According to Venerable Thich Van Nguyen, in charge of managing the Long Phuoc Pagoda Traditional Martial Arts Club, the book "Luc Tuong Tang Vuong Pho Minh Binh Thu Chieu Phap" ( Six Generals' Royal Military Strategy Manual ) was recorded by the founder of the Long Ho Khong Hong school, Hu Minh (1518 - 1590).
This document records and compiles military tactics (war strategy) and over 150 rare ancient martial arts techniques, including the ultimate martial arts skills of famous Vietnamese generals: from Dinh Tien Hoang's Dong Dia Thuy Tien , Ly Cong Uan 's U Linh Thuong, Tran Quang Khai's Lieu Kim Quang Thuong to Le Loi's Phong Van Kiem Phap ...

The founder of the Long Ho Khong Hong martial arts school, whose real name was Nguyen Minh Khoi, left Thang Long (Hanoi) at the age of 16 and went south, diligently seeking out masters and learning martial arts. After many years of research, in 1561, he began compiling his martial arts techniques into the book "Luc Tuong Tang Vuong Pho Minh Binh Thu Chieu Phap ," marking a turning point in the transmission of traditional Vietnamese martial arts.

By the 18th century, General Nguyen Trung Nhu (1747 – 1803), the 8th head of the Long Ho Khong Hong martial arts school, continued to develop this martial art. He followed the Three Heroes of Tay Son, participated in many battles, then retired to live in seclusion and compiled "Tay Son Secrets of Famous Generals and Heroic Deeds ," systematizing the legendary martial arts techniques of contemporary generals: Nguyen Hue's Nghiem Thuong , Nguyen Lu's Hung Ke Quyen , Bui Thi Xuan's Song Phuong Kiem , Tran Quang Dieu's Loi Phong Tuy Hinh Kiem…
These two sets of martial arts manuals are both a treasure trove of martial arts knowledge and valuable resources on tactics, military strategy, and the spirit of Vietnamese martial artists. Initially passed down internally in Chinese and Nom script, in the 20th century, the late 13th Grand Master Nguyen Dong Hai (Hu Linh Tu) translated them into the national script for easier study and teaching. Since 1987, at Long Phuoc Pagoda, he has run classes, teaching hundreds of martial arts techniques from these two sets of manuals, continuing the glorious martial arts legacy of his ancestors.

According to martial arts master Tran Duy Linh, Director of the Binh Dinh Traditional Martial Arts Center, the two books are not only the ultimate martial arts techniques of the Long Ho Khong Hong school but also valuable documents of Binh Dinh's martial arts tradition. The center has collected and compiled unique martial arts forms, incorporating them into training programs for students and athletes, and has also invited martial arts masters from various schools to introduce and teach their characteristic martial arts, contributing to the preservation and dissemination of Binh Dinh's traditional martial arts.
