BOS Securities Joint Stock Company (Code: ART) has been placed under supervision by the State Securities Commission for failing to meet financial safety indicators, violating Clause 1, Article 14 of Circular No. 91/2020/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance .
Previously, in May 2024, the State Securities Commission also revoked BOS's certificate of eligibility to conduct derivatives trading and provide clearing and settlement services for derivatives.

With this new status of being placed under supervision, if BOS Securities fails to resolve the issues within four months, the company may face partial suspension of trading.
In terms of business operations, BOS Securities has been in a slump for almost two years, with virtually no revenue. Over the past year, the company has also continuously suffered losses, with profits from securities trading consistently being negative.
In Q2 2024, BOS Securities recorded revenue of only VND 294 million, with a gross loss of VND 1.8 billion from business operations. In addition, ART still had to incur operating expenses, resulting in a net loss after tax of VND 6.2 billion. Including Q2 2024, BOS Securities has suffered losses for six consecutive quarters.
In the first six months of 2024, BOS Securities generated less than 500 million VND in revenue, with a total after-tax loss of over 12.5 billion VND.
At the end of 2024, the company's total assets amounted to VND 144.2 billion. Of this, VND 114.4 billion was from loans. Equity capital had sharply decreased, falling to only VND 139.8 billion after a long period of losses and sluggish business.
