Hanoi Radio and Television Station began its digital transformation by restructuring its organization, changing its management/operational methods; building a digital transformation strategy and action plan aimed at optimizing the system, creating new values ​​through the application of modern technologies and smart management models.

Hanoi Radio and Television Station is rebuilding and standardizing its work processes, from content orientation, production organization, product packaging, broadcasting, publishing on digital platforms, and business services, with the goal of fulfilling political tasks, ensuring the operating principles of a media agency, and satisfying viewers/listeners/readers and customers.

Hanoi Radio and Television Station has built a structured, centralized data warehouse, including content data (production, storage, broadcasting/distribution), internal operational data, data on audience profiles and viewer/listener/customer behavior, competitor data, etc., and considers it a crucial source of information for its daily operations.

To adapt to the organization's digital transformation, Hanoi Radio and Television Station has collaborated with partners to design a series of digital skills training/retraining programs for all levels of management, reporters, editors, technicians, and staff in various departments.

Hanoi Radio and Television Station is building a digital journalism ecosystem (HANOI ON). This ecosystem is a multi-dimensional network where a range of entities interact cross-functionally, from content production units (inside and outside the station), content coordination units, platform providers, service providers to the audience, and value-exchange elements within the network such as content, transmission channels, technology, finance, products, and services…

The entities participating in this ecosystem are arranged in a three-tiered structure, centered around the audience, interacting and exchanging value in a specific cycle that mimics the food chain of a natural ecosystem.

This ecosystem will help us build and maintain a community of audiences with digital content and service providers to form a next-generation media network in Hanoi.
