CLIP: Tourists visit for free a fruit-laden date palm garden in the West

(NLDO) - It is expected that the date palm garden will be open until National Day on September 2nd, then the fruit will be harvested.

These days, Xuan Trang Date Palm Garden in Sa Dec Ward, Dong Thap Province is bearing fruit in abundance, attracting a lot of tourists . The date palm variety grown here was imported from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Many tourists from near and far took the opportunity to visit the date palm garden while the trees were still bearing fruit.

In the garden, there are about 400 trees, each tree gives about 4 to 6 bunches, weight about 7 kg to 10 kg/bunch.

At Xuan Trang Date Palm Garden, there are two types of fruit: yellow and red. With moderate height, the clusters of date palms laden with fruit have attracted many tourists. In particular, the garden owner does not collect tickets but opens the door for visitors to visit for free, so it attracts more and more visitors.

The garden owner only selects ripe dates for visitors to enjoy at a price of 350,000 VND/kg.

The garden is expected to be open until National Day on September 2nd, then the fruit will be harvested. With the advantages of beautiful colors and crispy, sweet ripe fruit, in recent days, visitors from all over have taken the opportunity to stop by to visit, take photos, and buy ripe fruit to enjoy.

The date palm garden also sells seedlings to tourists for prices ranging from 1.6 million to 40 million VND/tree (depending on the size of the tree).

Ms. Dang Thi Thu Ha (living in Ho Chi Minh City) shared: "I learned about this date palm garden through social networks. When I learned about this garden, my family and I came to visit and take pictures."
