The teacher in the photo is Hoang Minh Diep, a kindergarten teacher. She has worked at Minh Chuan School since 2019 and is an excellent teacher loved by students.
Ms. Diep's house is right across from the school, so she and some male colleagues tried to stay at the school. Ms. Diep was one of the first people to update the school's image.

Sharing with a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Vu Thu Huong, Principal of Minh Chuan Primary and Secondary School, said that when the school was deeply flooded, Ms. Diep's house was also flooded almost to the roof, she still went up to the roof to record images of the school to update the school's situation with the Board of Directors.
As soon as the water receded, Ms. Hoang Minh Diep and her colleagues returned to the school to clean up after the historic flood. Minh Chuan Primary and Secondary School has two floors, and although the teachers had moved their belongings to the second floor, all the electrical and electronic equipment was still damaged because the water had reached the windows of the second floor. The water receded, leaving a layer of mud as deep as the thighs.

"As soon as the water receded, we started cleaning up the school. A lot of tables and chairs were swept away. They were as heavy as ice chests containing food for boarding students. Many people carried them with heavy hands, and they were also swept quite far across the road... the roof of the house because the kitchen's corrugated iron roof was blown away by the wind. The school's water tank was somehow swept out to the field. The material damage to the school was severe. According to statistics, 10 teachers and 170 students had their houses buried by landslides and swept away by floodwaters, of which 36 were severely affected..." - Ms. Vu Thu Huong recounted.

"Someone asked me if that was a teacher at the school, was the photo staged to get likes? Why would a teacher eat raw instant noodles like that?". The answer is that we did not stage it or get likes, those were photos taken naturally, during the busiest cleaning days to welcome students back to school.
