With the participation of 323 companies from 15 countries, the MTA 2024 precision engineering and machine tool exhibition is not only an important international trade event but also a platform to promote economic and industrial relations between Taiwan (China) and Vietnam.

TAITRA has set up the “Green Transformation for a Green Earth” campaign at MTA 2024

MTA 2024 witnessed the impressive presence of Taiwanese enterprises, not only bringing high-quality innovative products, but also affirming sustainable cooperation and development in the Vietnamese market.

At the event, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) gathered 65 business units from four major associations in the machine tool industry.

TAITRA established the “Green Transformation for a Green Earth” campaign, held five themed press conferences and presentations, and unveiled more than 18 sustainable smart manufacturing solutions from Taiwanese companies. These solutions included smart automation technology, with many products and services attracting the attention of nearly 1,000 visitors, creating an estimated business opportunity of up to 13 million USD.

65 enterprises from 4 major associations in the field of machine tools in Taiwan (China) had an impressive presence at MTA 2024

Speaking at the press conference to open the series of events, Mr. Chang Wen Chung - Director of Economic Division at Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City, shared: “ Vietnam is on the path to recovery with an expected GDP growth rate of 5.5% in 2024. Taiwan has a solid foundation in information technology and telecommunications equipment, as well as a complete supply chain of machinery and tools. Therefore, Taiwanese enterprises can provide customized smart manufacturing solutions and technologies to Vietnamese enterprises, supporting Vietnam's sustainable manufacturing future.”

Taiwanese companies such as ChinFong, HIWIN, SuperAIR, GMW, Winho and Combitech have established themselves in providing advanced technology and automation solutions.

Taiwanese businesses affirm sustainable cooperation and development with Vietnamese partners

Mr. Jiro Wang - representative of ChinFong Company, one of the leading manufacturers of presses and metal processing equipment from Taiwan, shared: “ We are committed to providing high-quality solutions and comprehensive technical support to customers in Vietnam. This cooperation will not only promote economic development but also enhance Vietnam's production capacity and technological innovation”.

HIWIN - a leading manufacturer of drive systems and automation components, also pays special attention to improving production efficiency and optimizing processes. Mr. Richard Chen - representative of HIWIN, said: " We believe in the potential of the Vietnamese market and are committed to accompanying our partners in applying the most advanced technology to bring the highest value to customers".

SuperAIR and GMW, two prominent names in the field of control equipment and technology, have emphasized their flexibility in customer support and commitment to providing products that meet the highest quality requirements. Meanwhile, Winho and Combitech, representing innovation and creativity in automation technology, are constantly striving to bring smart and efficient solutions to businesses in Vietnam.

Taiwanese companies bring high-quality innovative products to the exhibition

Ms. Wenchen Chen - Secretary General of the Taiwan Intelligent Robot and Automation Association (TAIROA), also shared her view: " We hope that the relationship between Taiwan and Vietnam will continue to be strengthened through increased cooperation and experience sharing in the fields of Industry 4.0 and automation."

MTA 2024 not only contributes to improving production capacity and technological innovation, but also opens up many new economic cooperation opportunities, promoting sustainable development for both Vietnam and Taiwan (China).
