PVCFC leads in sustainable development and corporate governance by 2025

PVCFC continues to affirm its reputation when being recognized in two important categories of CSI 2025, standing out with its green strategy and international standard management system.

At the Vietnam Sustainable Enterprises 2025 (CSI 2025) Announcement Ceremony organized by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD-VCCI) on December 5 in Hanoi , PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Corporation (PVCFC) was honored in the Top 10 Sustainable Enterprises in the manufacturing sector in 2025 and Top 5 Enterprises with Breakthrough Corporate Governance in 2025.

This is one of the leading high-standard business assessment programs in Vietnam, with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, along with representatives of ministries, branches, international organizations and the press community. In 2025, the CSI Index is assessed to have the most comprehensive and rigorous requirements, with more than 130 criteria for ESG, risk management, circular economy and social responsibility.

In the context of increasingly high standards, PVCFC still stands out thanks to its consistent sustainable development strategy and ability to realize its goals with specific measurement results: reducing 4.45% of emission intensity, reducing 5.48% of energy use intensity, Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant is in the Top 10 factories with the lowest energy consumption in the world , while maintaining a contribution of about 10.62% of the country's fertilizer market share. In addition, the enterprise continues to demonstrate its social responsibility through the program of planting 300,000 trees in the period of 2022-2025 and spending 80 billion VND on social security in 2024.

Not only leading in ESG, PVCFC also made a strong mark in corporate governance - a content that is increasingly considered by the expert community to be crucial for sustainable competitiveness. The Corporation has gradually standardized its governance model according to international practices, deeply digitized its operating and risk management processes, increased information transparency, and enhanced the supervisory role of the Board of Directors. These improvements help optimize resource management and improve operational efficiency in the context of business expansion.

Previously, on December 3, 2025, PVCFC was also named at the 2025 Listed Enterprise Selection Program with two important awards: Top 8 Best Corporate Governance Enterprises - large-cap group and First Prize for Sustainable Development Report - non-financial industry group, continuing to strengthen its reputation and governance capacity according to international standards.
