In the context of the capital market requiring increasing transparency, professionalism and compliance with international standards, PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Corporation (PVCFC - Ca Mau Fertilizer) continues to make a strong impression when simultaneously achieving two important awards at the 2025 Listed Enterprise Selection Program: Top 8 Best Corporate Governance Enterprises - large-cap group, First Prize for Sustainable Development Report - non-financial industry group.

This is the second consecutive year that PVCFC has improved its ranking in the governance rankings and the first year that the enterprise has achieved the highest position in the sustainable development report category, showing a big step forward in standardizing the governance model according to international practices.

The Vietnam Listed Company Awards (VLCA) is a selection for listed companies with three main categories: Annual Report, Corporate Governance and Sustainability Report. In the evaluation process, the preliminary round is conducted by independent experts of the Vietnam Institute of Directors (VIOD). The results are then independently reviewed by the world's four leading auditing companies - Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC (Big 4) to ensure accuracy, objectivity and transparency before announcing the final round.

In the corporate governance category, being in the Top 8 best corporate governance enterprises reflects PVCFC's efforts to restructure its governance during the 2023-2025 period. The enterprise has standardized its operations according to OECD practices, enhanced the role of independent supervision, strengthened the Audit Committee, and improved the quality of information disclosure.

In the fertilizer industry, which is highly volatile due to gas prices, international competition and climate impacts, a tight governance framework helps PVCFC maintain safety margins, control risks and optimize operations. This is also the foundation for the business to expand into NPK product lines, increase exports and gradually participate more deeply in the regional chemical- agricultural value chain.

The First Prize in the Sustainable Development Report continues to be a highlight that highlights PVCFC's transformation. The company's sustainable development report fully discloses a set of key ESG indicators such as greenhouse gas emission intensity, energy consumption, resource reuse rate and Net Zero roadmap, along with clear implementation solutions. This shows that PVCFC not only reports on a full set of criteria, but also truly integrates ESG into its production and business strategy.

Many corporate social programs such as the Golden Seed Scholarship or Petrovietnam STEM Innovation are implemented in the direction of creating long-term impacts, with effective evaluation and in line with the standards of international sustainable investment funds. Linking ESG with financial strategy, risk management and investment plans also shows the maturity of PVCFC in its development roadmap according to global standards.

In the heavy industry group, not many units have achieved high results in both governance and sustainable development reporting. This achievement therefore puts PVCFC in the group of Vietnamese enterprises with regional competitiveness, especially in the context of export markets such as Australia, Japan or Latin America increasingly prioritizing suppliers with transparent ESG profiles.

These two awards also strengthen investors' confidence in the company's risk management capacity and long-term strategy, while affirming the image of Ca Mau Fertilizer as a pioneering, stable agricultural brand with a clear development strategy, in line with the trend.

Entering a new phase, Ca Mau Fertilizer aims to expand its product portfolio, promote international markets and comprehensive digital transformation. Sustainable management and development are not only plus points, but also become competitive capabilities that help PVCFC raise its position in the chemical and fertilizer industry in Vietnam and the region.
