PVCFC representative, Mr. Lam Van Thong - Deputy Head of New Products and Agricultural Solutions Department, shared at the ceremony:
“ Ca Mau Fertilizer believes that knowledge is the foundation of modern, sustainable agriculture. We are proud to accompany students of the University of Agriculture and Forestry for many years and will continue to support them to nurture their passion, develop creative ideas and contribute to Vietnamese agriculture.”
A highlight of this year’s program is the case of Hoai Thuong, a freshman at Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, from Ca Mau. Orphaned and only able to afford one meal a day to save money, Thuong is still determined to pursue her studies. The timely support from the “Golden Season Pearl” scholarship gives her more confidence to continue her journey of conquering knowledge.
2025 also marks the 11th consecutive year of the “Golden Seeds” scholarship awarded at Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry. This is a testament to PVCFC’s persistent commitment to investing in high-quality agricultural human resources – a force that plays a decisive role in innovation and development of the future agricultural sector.
At the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Phan Tai Huan - Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, on behalf of the school, presented flowers and a thank you letter to PVCFC, recognizing the practical and meaningful contributions that the business has made to students over more than a decade of companionship.
“Golden Pearls” is currently being deployed by PVCFC nationwide, targeting students with outstanding achievements or those in difficult circumstances but always showing a love of learning and a will to succeed. Over the past decade, the program has contributed to helping many young generations on their journey to conquer knowledge, especially in the field of agriculture – a field in which PVCFC has continuously invested in research, technology transfer and innovation.
PVCFC affirms that it will continue to expand the program in the coming years, accompany more students, continue to sow seeds of hope and foster knowledge for future agricultural human resources.
