The Hai Phong City Police have released official information regarding the incident on July 14th in An Lao district (Hai Phong), where a car driver threw a traffic police officer onto the hood of his vehicle and drove for about 1km.
The Hai Phong Police assessed the driver's behavior as showing signs of the crime of resisting a public official.
The An Lão District Police Investigation Agency (Hai Phong) is coordinating with relevant authorities to investigate and resolve the case in accordance with the law.

Regarding the events of the incident, at approximately 2:40 PM on July 14th, at kilometer 37+800 on National Highway 10, in An Lao district, Hoang Trung Hieu (39 years old, residing in Tien Lang, Hai Phong) was driving a car with license plate 15A-508.83 and ran a red light.
Upon detecting the incident, the task force of the Quang Trung Traffic Police Station, under the Traffic Police Department of the Hai Phong Public Security, signaled the vehicle to stop.
Instead of complying, Hieu drove straight ahead, forcing a traffic police officer to cling to the windshield wiper and lie on the car's hood.
The driver then continued driving for about 1km. When the vehicle reached Dai Thang commune, Tien Lang district, the traffic police officer jumped out, and the driver continued driving to an unknown location.
By 12:15 PM on July 15th, the police of An Lao district and Tien Lang district had successfully persuaded Hoang Trung Hieu to surrender.
