Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoai Phuong affirmed that the strong development of the digital technology industry is guided by strategic policies from the Party and the State. In particular, Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo has become an important guideline, identifying science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as the main growth drivers of the country, considered as a "Contract 10" for innovation.

This Resolution sets ambitious goals, of which the digital technology business community is the pioneering force to realize: Bringing the proportion of the digital economy contributing to GDP to over 20% by the end of 2025; Expanding the digital technology business community to 60,000 active enterprises; Increasing the proportion of Vietnamese value in the industry value chain from the current 32% to 50% by 2030.

“To achieve this landmark goal, we must shift from growth in scale to growth in quality, focusing on mastering strategic technologies such as AI, Semiconductors, and Cloud Infrastructure. Vietnamese digital technology enterprises are the core force shouldering this mission,” Deputy Minister Bui Hoai Phuong emphasized.

Honoring 169 titles of Top 10 Vietnamese digital technology enterprises 2025

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of VINASA, in the new context, the Top 10 Vietnamese Digital Technology Enterprises 2025 Program has been comprehensively restructured: more scientific in criteria, deeper in expertise, more open in connection, and more substantial in business opportunities.

Accordingly, the Top 10 digital technology enterprises program has been changed from the form of "Voting" to "Evaluation & Ranking" according to VINASA Tech Map - international standards adjusted for the Vietnamese market. This is the first time that the selection and honoring of excellent enterprises is closely linked with the construction of the Digital Technology Enterprise Map.

Notably, only 81 businesses that have been directly evaluated and authenticated by the Expert Council have been honored in the Top 10 digital technology businesses.

Launching the Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprise Map 2025

At the event, VINASA officially launched the Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprise Map 2025.

Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong commented that the launch of the Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprise Map by VINASA is a very meaningful activity; it helps Vietnamese digital technology enterprises clearly identify their position on the Vietnam map, providing a panoramic picture of the capacity of the Vietnamese digital technology industry.

The organizers said that to evaluate and create this Map, VINASA used the VINASA Techmap evaluation method, built based on Gartner's Magic Quadrant method.

The assessment and positioning of enterprises are based on 2 axes: Vision and Execution. The Vision axis has 5 criteria: Innovation, Market Strategy, Ecosystem, Sustainability, Compatibility. The Execution axis has 5 criteria: Product Quality, Customer Service, Development Strategy, Market Share, Finance.

The method of scoring and positioning businesses on the map is carried out in the following steps: Independent scoring experts; Standardizing scores to ensure that the scoring experts' scores are converted to the same reference frame; Building a decision matrix; Determining weights; Using TOPSIS to position businesses on the map based on correlation with the positive and negative optimal scores of each evaluation axis.

When displayed according to each Map, specific groups will be formed. Leading Group: Enterprises that lead the market, have both long-term vision and good execution ability. Strength Group: Enterprises with strong implementation capacity, focusing on practical efficiency. Specialized Advantage Group: Enterprises with strengths in specific fields, developing in a specialized direction. Exploration Group : Innovative enterprises, focusing on new technology but execution ability is still developing.
