
2025 is the 7th time Son La province has organized a provincial-level selection of ITTTB products. Immediately after the Selection Council was completed, the guiding documents, regulations and implementation plans were issued in full and uniformity, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion and the People's Committees of communes and wards to review and guide rural industrial establishments to register to participate, ensuring the correct procedures and criteria.
As a result, the Council received 71 product profiles; after evaluation, 67 products from 33 establishments were qualified for voting. The Jury conducted independent and objective scoring according to criteria of quality, design, production technology, market expansion, socio-economic value, environmental friendliness and harmony with local identity. The evaluation process was carried out seriously, ensuring transparency and accurately reflecting product quality.


Through scoring, many products have clearly shown the advantages of local materials, application of advanced processing technology, and designs suitable to consumer tastes. Some products combine traditional craftsmanship and modern production lines well. Thereby increasing product value and competitiveness in the market. In addition, some products still need to continue investing in improving the quality of packaging, labels, food safety standards and production capacity to meet increasingly high market demands.

Based on the scoring results, the Voting Council has submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for recognition of 30 products achieving the title of "Typical rural industrial products of Son La province in 2025". These are products with an average score of 70 points or higher, fully meeting the criteria and having the potential to expand the market, eligible to participate in the voting at the regional and national levels in the coming time.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Voting Council, the Jury, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, the People's Committees of communes and wards, and the enterprises and cooperatives that actively participated, contributing to enriching the ecosystem of production and consumption of local products.
He emphasized that the selection of high-quality products not only honors quality products but also motivates rural industrial establishments to innovate technology, improve production capacity and develop markets. The selection results are an important basis for the province to continue supporting brand building, promoting the image and enhancing the value of Son La's typical products. Many products recognized this year have applied technical advances, met safety standards, and promoted the advantages of local materials such as coffee, tea, honey, processed agricultural products, handicrafts, etc. Some products are imbued with regional cultural identity, contributing to creating jobs and increasing income for rural workers.

To continue promoting the effectiveness of the voting program, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the Department of Industry and Trade closely coordinate with the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion, Ministry of Industry and Trade to effectively implement trade promotion programs; support businesses and cooperatives to strengthen supply-demand connections and expand markets. The Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion acts as the focal point for organizing trade promotion programs inside and outside the province, supporting establishments to innovate technology and improve competitiveness.
The People's Committees of communes and wards continue to develop local industries, promote industrial promotion policies, support production establishments in accessing resources, promote the application of science and technology and participate in voting for commune-level ITTTB products. Enterprises and cooperatives with recognized products need to maintain quality, improve designs, build market development strategies and standardize products to participate in voting at regional and national levels; at the same time, create more jobs and increase income for local workers.
It is recommended that press agencies continue to promote the voting program, introduce typical products, spread good models and effective methods, contributing to promoting the development of rural industry in the province.
