Agribank Trade Union continues the journey of sharing

Agribank Trade Union directly visited and supported officers and workers at branches in the Central region that suffered heavy losses due to floods, helping to stabilize work soon.

On the morning of October 30, continuing the program of visiting and supporting units affected by natural disasters in the Central region, the Agribank Trade Union delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Tien Truong, member of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the State Bank of Vietnam, Head of the Agribank Representative Office in the Central region, overcame the flood to directly visit and give support to the staff and employees of Agribank Hue Branch - one of the units suffering heavy damage due to floods.

Here, the delegation will grasp the actual situation, visit the lives of officers, employees and families of officers, employees and employees of Agribank Hue branch, check the level of impact on facilities and hand over support from the Agribank Trade Union fund, an amount of 300 million VND to help the branch quickly overcome the consequences and stabilize operations.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Truong shared: “The Central region has always suffered many natural disasters, but the resilient and steadfast spirit of Agribank employees has never wavered. Agribank's Trade Union always accompanies staff and workers in all circumstances, hoping that this support will help the branch's collective to be more steadfast in overcoming difficult times.”

Representatives of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Agribank Trade Union of Hue Branch expressed their deep gratitude to the Board of Directors of Agribank, the Executive Committee of the Agribank Trade Union and the Agribank Office in the Central region for their timely attention and sharing. The encouragement of the Agribank Trade Union is a great source of encouragement to help the branch gain more determination, continue to persevere, ensure stable operations, and serve customers and people in the flood area.

In addition, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Agribank in the Central region, Mr. Nguyen Tien Truong presented 10 million VND directly to the staff and workers of Agribank Hue branch, demonstrating the spirit of timely sharing, demonstrating a part of Agribank's culture of "mutual love and solidarity to overcome difficulties".

Previously, on the afternoon of October 29, Agribank Trade Union visited, encouraged and presented 300 million VND to support officers, employees and workers of Agribank Quang Nam branch who are currently seriously affected by flooding.

At the support handover ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tien Truong shared: “The Party Committee, Board of Members, Executive Board and Agribank Trade Union, Agribank Office in the Central region always care, accompany and provide timely support to branches, staff, workers and their relatives in all difficult circumstances. Hopefully, this timely support from the leaders and Agribank Trade Union will be a source of encouragement for comrades to confidently overcome difficulties, soon stabilize their lives and continue to complete their assigned tasks well.”

At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Tien Truong also conveyed the direction of the General Director of Agribank: "Directors of Agribank branches in areas affected by natural disasters and floods should proactively create conditions for staff and workers to be supported with enough food, medicine, flashlights, spare batteries, including life jackets to ensure the health and safety of workers. Damaged facilities after the flood recedes need to be repaired quickly and promptly. In addition, branches need to have appropriate credit policies to support customers affected by this flood, report and propose to the head office for guidance and support."
