On the evening of October 20, J97 Promotion - the management company of singer Jack J-97 (Trinh Tran Phuong Tuan) officially spoke up about the male singer's reaction from the audience regarding a song suspected of having offensive and vulgar lyrics.
J97 Promotion said that it has received information and mixed opinions on social networks related to the lyrics of this new song. The company affirmed that the original lyrics in Jack's composition do not contain the phrase "Lao anything also respect" as some information is spreading on social networks.
“We are very sorry that these lyrics have caused unnecessary misunderstandings. This is an unreleased song, performed spontaneously by Jack as an off-script gift to thank the audience for staying and waiting even though it was late at night. Because the song does not have an official audio version and was sung spontaneously at the event, recordings from the audience may lead to misinterpretations,” J97 Promotion informed. Despite the explanation, the incident continues to cause mixed opinions from the public.
