Song Tranh Hydropower Company overhauls H1 generator and 220kV station

Accordingly, from July 11 to August 9, 2024, unit H1 will be overhauled according to the technical plan and repair schedule approved by superiors.

The representative of Song Tranh Hydropower Company said that with the goal of restoring the equipment's features according to the original design parameters after the overhaul, ensuring the equipment operates safely and continuously until the next major repair cycle, this year's overhaul the company will focus on maintaining, repairing, and replacing equipment systems after more than 15 years of operation.

The overhaul of unit H1 was carried out using the reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) method; at the same time, the equipment system status was analyzed and evaluated to select a reliability-centered maintenance method for the plant.

Overhaul items of unit H1 include: repair and maintenance of unit equipment, main transformer (H1-T1); distribution station and 220kV overpass; repair of factory central control system; AC and DC self-contained equipment system; compressed air system...

At the same time, unit H1 will be tested and repaired for any existing problems and defects in the equipment system discovered during operation as well as during the unit's shutdown for inspection.

Previously, the company registered to isolate unit H1 with the National Power System Control Center; surveyed and established a repair list, technical plan and organized the purchase of equipment and materials according to regulations.

Completing the repair and maintenance of the 220kV distribution station in June 2024 and implementing the overhaul of unit H1 as planned will improve the reliability of the equipment system for safe and stable operation, contributing to the successful completion of the 2024 production and business plan of Song Tranh Hydropower Company.
