On the morning of November 5, at Quang Duc commune, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council - Constituency No. 18, including delegates: Priest Tran Xuan Manh, non-professional Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee, Chairman of the Catholic Solidarity Committee of Thanh Hoa province; Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Quoc Tien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Quang Xuong District Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Thinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, met with voters of Quang Xuong district before the 20th session - the regular session at the end of 2024, the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

Voters of Quang Xuong district expressed their joy and excitement with the results the province achieved in the first 10 months of 2024, and their confidence in the leadership, direction and administration of the Party Committee and government, and the key solutions and tasks set out by the province in 2025.

Voters from the three communes of Quang Duc, Quang Dinh, and Quang Nhan attended the voter consultation meeting.

In a frank and democratic atmosphere, voters in Quang Xuong reflected on and made recommendations to the provincial People's Council representatives on several issues related to local socio-economic development and people's lives, such as: requesting the addition of a mechanism to support funding for the period 2026-2030 for communes striving to build advanced new rural areas, to invest in completing infrastructure projects such as transportation, irrigation, and cultural facilities (in addition to the cement support mechanism).

We propose that the Provincial People's Council strengthen mechanisms and policies to stimulate demand in localities for the construction of basic infrastructure projects, aiming to complete the criteria for advanced and model new rural areas.

Consider and issue a Resolution to support workers going to work abroad under contract, in order to meet the legitimate aspirations of workers in the area.

Voters in Quang Xuong district have submitted a proposal.

In addition, voters reflected on difficulties in implementing regulations on the number, titles, and policies for part-time workers at the commune, village, and residential group levels; and the shortage of teachers in the district.

We propose considering a reduction in tuition fees at universities and a tuition fee exemption or reduction program for children from poor and near-poor households studying at universities in the coming years; and a policy to support women's association members at the grassroots level with loans for economic development...

Voters of Quang Nhan commune reflected that the Nhan - Ninh - Hai route, invested in since 2000, has a very narrow asphalt surface (3.5m) while the traffic volume and density are very high, and needs investment and upgrading.

Voters of Quang Dinh commune proposed that the Provincial People's Council strengthen stimulus policies for localities to build basic construction items to complete the criteria of advanced NTM and model NTM...

Quang Xuong District Party Secretary Nguyen Quoc Tien answered voters' questions and recommendations according to his authority.

Comrade Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received and explained the recommendations of voters of Quang Xuong district.

After listening to the opinions and recommendations of voters and the explanatory speech of the leaders of Quang Xuong district, on behalf of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, Comrade Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, respectfully thanked the voters for their trust in the delegates of the Provincial People's Council; at the same time, discussed and clarified some issues of concern to voters and directly directed relevant functional agencies and Quang Xuong district to inspect, clarify and promptly resolve issues under their authority. The opinions were also received and compiled by the delegation of the Provincial People's Council to submit to the Provincial People's Council and competent agencies for consideration and resolution at the upcoming session of the Provincial People's Council.
