BTO - This was one of the opinions expressed by voters in Song Luy commune, Bac Binh district, during a meeting with National Assembly representatives from the province on the afternoon of December 11th.

Accordingly, at the aforementioned time, Ms. Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thuan province, and Member of the National Assembly of Binh Thuan province in the 15th term - held a meeting with voters in Song Luy commune. Also in attendance were representatives from several relevant departments and agencies, local authorities at the district and commune levels, and a large number of voters.

At this meeting, in addition to reporting on the results of the 6th session of the National Assembly, National Assembly Deputy Bo Thi Xuan Linh also reported on the results of the 19th session (year-end session) of the 11th term of the Binh Thuan Provincial People's Council, highlighting encouraging achievements in the economic , social, national defense, and security situation, especially the breakthrough development of the province's tourism industry in 2023.

During the meeting, voters in Song Luy commune requested that relevant authorities pay attention to the welfare of grassroots-level association officials. According to the voters, these individuals participate in many community activities but lack appropriate support to encourage and share their efforts. In particular, many voters expressed concern about serious environmental pollution caused by the presence of a landfill in the commune; and the placement of graves near roads, affecting the local aesthetics and environment. Simultaneously, residents raised concerns about difficulties in issuing land ownership certificates to households and the continued shortage of clean water during the dry season.

After listening to the opinions and suggestions of voters in Song Luy commune, the leaders of the commune and district People's Committees and relevant departments and agencies acknowledged and addressed the issues within their authority. Regarding issues falling under the authority of the province and the National Assembly, National Assembly representative Bo Thi Xuan Linh recorded the voters' opinions and compiled them for forwarding to the relevant agencies.

Ms. Bo Thi Xuan Linh welcomed the local government's increased engagement with the people, resolving difficulties and alleviating public grievances. Regarding environmental issues, the National Assembly representative stated that, in addition to the involvement of relevant levels and sectors and the local government, the awareness of the people in protecting a green and clean environment is extremely important.
