Provide enough gasoline for production, business and consumption in Ha Tinh

The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province directed not to let gas stations stop selling without reason, causing a local shortage of gas supply in the area.

Pursuant to Directive No. 01/CT-BCT dated January 2, 2024 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the implementation of Official Dispatch No. 1437/CD-TTg dated December 30, 2023 of the Prime Minister on focusing on implementing solutions to ensure adequate supply of gasoline for production, business and consumption of people and enterprises; based on the report and proposal of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh, the Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, units, localities, key enterprises, distributors, general agents, agents and retail gasoline stores in the province to promptly implement related contents.

Accordingly, the organization strictly implements the direction of the Prime Minister , the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the directive documents of the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening inspection, supervision, ensuring supply and compliance with the law in petroleum business; not to interrupt the supply of petroleum in the business system; maintain sales activities at the enterprise's petroleum retail stores according to regulations.

The Department of Industry and Trade shall preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to guide documents and procedures, facilitate traders in the area to carry out business activities of supplying gasoline; direct key enterprises, distributors, general agents, agents, and retail gasoline stores in the province to be proactive and have plans to ensure gasoline supply; monitor sales time and retail prices of gasoline stores; and prevent gasoline stores from stopping sales without reason, causing a local shortage of gasoline supply in the area.

At the same time, the Department of Industry and Trade presides over and coordinates with departments, branches, units, localities and relevant agencies to survey and assess the current status of petroleum and gas reserve infrastructure in the province, develop a plan to develop a petroleum and gas reserve system in the province, and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee in the first quarter of 2024 according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Document No. 5069/UBND-KT ₂ dated September 20, 2023 on the implementation of the National Petroleum and Gas Reserve and Supply Infrastructure Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, units, localities, key enterprises, distributors, general agents, agents and retail gasoline stores in the province to seriously and promptly implement the above contents; assign the Department of Industry and Trade to synthesize the implementation situation, promptly report and advise on related contents.
