On the afternoon of September 10th, Long An Football Club, Tay Ninh province, held its launch ceremony for the 2025-2026 season. At the ceremony, the appearance of former football star Phan Van Tai Em attracted attention from his fans as well as those who previously played for Dong Tam Long An Football Club.

Previously, Hoai Duc Football Joint Stock Company signed an agreement to fully support the operating, training, competition, and related costs of Long An Football Club to participate in the National First Division League 2025-2026. The total estimated cost for Long An football to continue participating in this season is approximately 12 billion VND.
This event marks a significant turning point as Long An Football Club officially receives full funding to participate in the new season.

For the new season, former football star Phan Van Tai Em officially returns to the pitch as the Head of Delegation for Long An Football Club.
Following the team's send-off ceremony, Long An FC will play their first match on September 13th against Quy Nhon United FC at the Long An stadium.
Phan Van Tai Em hopes to bring his provincial team back to the golden age of Dong Tam Long An Club.
At the team's send-off ceremony, Phan Van Tai Em expressed his desire to work with the sponsors to build a "clean, professional, and fairplay" team, always dedicated to representing his country.
"I will do my best to lead the team to perform well and quickly restore the status of provincial football to what it was during the golden age of Dong Tam Long An Club," Tài Em affirmed.
The head coach of Long An Football Club for the new season is Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh, the technical director is former football legend Nguyen Van Sy, the assistant coach is Mr. Phan Van Giau, and the executive director is Mr. Hoang Nhat Nam.
