At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Cong Dung, a member of the Editorial and Publishing Council of the National Political Publishing House, stated that "Treasure" is the result of close and dedicated collaboration between the publishing house and Son Tra ward, as well as the support of numerous artists and photographers from both within and outside the country.
"Treasure," a 272-page book, is meticulously compiled and presented in both Vietnamese and English. With emotionally rich photographs, diverse perspectives, and concise introductions, the book possesses both artistic value and a profound humanistic message, vividly recreating the majestic nature of Son Tra Peninsula – the "precious gem" of Da Nang City.

The book consists of five parts: The Scenery of Son Tra, The Breath of the Forest, Treasures of Son Tra, The Dance of the Wild, and The Colors of the Sea... like slices for readers to explore the richness, diversity, and uniqueness of nature here. In particular, Son Tra is home to many rare species of flora and fauna, including the brown-footed langur, known as the queen of primates.
The photographs in the book were selected from numerous photography competitions organized by the People's Committee of Son Tra District (formerly) and from contributions by many photographers. Therefore, the publication possesses both scientific depth and artistic richness. The bilingual Vietnamese-English publication helps the book reach a wider audience, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnam to international friends.
On behalf of the Editorial Board, Mr. Hoang Son Tra, Secretary of the Son Tra Ward Party Committee, emphasized: “This bilingual book is a valuable resource, providing readers with basic information about the diverse ecosystem and beautiful landscape of Son Tra. Through two versions (36x18cm and 24x12cm), the publication preserves the distinctive values of the Son Tra peninsula - one of the must-see destinations when visiting Da Nang.”
