From the night of October 24 to the morning of October 25, continuous heavy rain caused deep flooding in Bai Ngu hamlet, Tho Chau special zone (An Giang). Many roads and residential areas in the hamlet were flooded more than half a meter deep, water flooded into houses, disrupting people's daily lives.

Recorded this morning (October 25), water rose in the residential areas in the center of Bai Ngu hamlet, many households had to move their belongings, use planks and sandbags to prevent water from flooding into their houses. Some households took advantage of the rain to bail out water and clean up, while the rain showed no signs of abating.

According to local people, this is a rare prolonged heavy rain, rainwater from the mountainous area poured down so quickly that the drainage system could not drain in time, leading to local flooding.

Tho Chau special zone authorities recommend that people limit travel to ensure safety of people and property while the rain continues.
