On the afternoon of December 30th, at the 25B Conference Center, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Wood and Forest Products Association held its Second Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term.

The Thanh Hoa Wood and Forest Products Association is a professional social organization, a gathering place for organizations and individuals involved in the forestry sector, such as: forest planting, production, processing, and import/export of forest products. To date, the association has attracted 328 members, operating in 63 branches.
During the 2019-2024 term, the association intensified its efforts in disseminating information to its members, ensuring they understood the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws regarding the establishment and development of the Wood and Forest Products Association. It also coordinated with the Provincial Forest Protection Department in the areas of forest planting, harvesting, and processing of forest products. Association members actively collaborated with forest-planting households and protective forest management boards to build production and consumption chains for wood and forest products; providing information on markets and prices to enable members to plan stable and economically efficient production and business activities. Many grassroots branches cooperated and supported each other with capital, scientific and technological advancements, and new technologies in production and business.

For the 2024-2029 term, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Wood and Forest Products Association has set the goal of continuing to focus on strengthening and building strong branches; expanding, consolidating, and improving the quality of the association's organization, striving to recruit 10 more grassroots branches during the term; developing solutions to transfer scientific and technological advancements in production and business to a large number of members; and strengthening close coordination with relevant agencies and organizations involved in the import and export of forest products to find stable markets for the production and business of the province's wood and forest products industry...
The congress elected 33 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Thanh Hoa Wood and Forest Products Association for the term 2024-2029.
