The 6th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ninh Binh Province, term 2024-2029

On the morning of October 2nd, at the Pham Thi Tran Theater, the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ninh Binh province, term 2024-2029, officially opened with the theme "Aspiration - Unity - Creativity - Integration - Development".

Attending and directing the Congress were comrades: Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Standing Deputy Chairman of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; Tran Song Tung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; members of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and socio- political organizations; the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union; leaders of districts and cities; leaders of the Provincial Business Association; representatives of religious organizations in the province; representatives of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union from provinces and cities in the Red River Delta Emulation Cluster; former members of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and former members of the Vietnam Youth Union Standing Committee from various periods; and outstanding young entrepreneurs and businesses of the province.

The Congress was attended by 205 outstanding delegates, including exemplary members and young people representing the will, faith, intellect, and unity of the youth throughout the province.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly , and former Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, sent a congratulatory flower arrangement to the Congress.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Hiep, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province, delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

In his opening remarks at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Duc Hiep, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ninh Binh province, stated: The 6th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ninh Binh province, for the term 2024-2029, will objectively and comprehensively assess the achievements; identify weaknesses and shortcomings, and draw lessons from the implementation of the Resolution of the 5th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ninh Binh province. From there, it will determine the goals, directions, tasks, and solutions for the work of the Youth Union and youth movement for the term 2024-2029; and elect the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ninh Binh province for the 6th term – a collective with strong character, good moral qualities, high work capacity, high prestige among young people, enthusiasm and responsibility, representing the will and aspirations of young people, and leading the successful implementation of the tasks of the Youth Union and youth movement in the coming term. Discuss and contribute ideas to the documents and elect delegates to attend the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union.

To successfully complete the agenda and tasks of the Congress, the Presidium of the Congress requests that each delegate attending the Congress uphold the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, democracy, utilize their intellect, and actively participate in the Congress's agenda, contributing to its success.
