The 12th Congress of the Party Committee of Thanh Hoa Agricultural College

On the morning of April 3rd, the Party Committee of Thanh Hoa Agricultural College held its 12th Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

The Party Committee of Thanh Hoa Agricultural College was renamed from the Party Committee of Thanh Hoa Agricultural and Forestry College when it received the Party Committee of the Agricultural and Rural Development Vocational College from the Party Committee of the Bloc of Agencies and Enterprises of Thanh Hoa Province.

After completing the consolidation of grassroots Party organizations, and based on an assessment of the results of implementing the Resolution of the 2020-2025 Party Congress of the two predecessor Party Committees, the Party Committee of Thanh Hoa Agricultural College has inherited, adjusted, and set forth directions, goals, and targets of the Resolution for the 2020-2025 term to lead and direct implementation in accordance with the new context and situation.

Party Secretary and Principal of Thanh Hoa Agricultural College, Le Hoang Ba Huyen, delivered a speech at the Congress.

During the past term, the Party Committee of the school paid special attention to student recruitment and improving the quality of training. The school recruited 10,685 students, averaging 2,137 students per year. Simultaneously, it developed and reviewed training programs, registered additional vocational education activities, diversified training fields and professions; and developed 2 new intermediate-level training programs, 4 basic-level programs, and 62 short-term training programs (under 3 months)... As a result, the quality of education and training has improved significantly, and teaching and learning activities have gradually become more organized. The average graduation rate for vocational students reached 95.81%.

Scientific research has received attention and has seen many positive changes. During the past term, the school implemented 2 provincial-level scientific research projects, 13 institutional-level scientific research projects (6 institutional-level projects have been completed); and had 1 provincial-level innovative experience project and 2 institutional-level innovative experience projects.

Taking advantage of the attention of the Provincial People's Committee, the support of departments and agencies, and revenue sources, the school has strengthened and added more facilities and equipment to serve the training.

Guided by the motto "Unity, Democracy, and Discipline," the Congress focused on discussing and contributing ideas to overcome the shortcomings of the previous term; and outlining tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term. In particular, it focused on several key tasks and objectives, including the gradual and successful implementation of the "Development Plan for Thanh Hoa Agricultural College until 2030, with a vision to 2045," which has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee.

Additional registrations were made for 5 college-level vocational programs, 9 intermediate-level vocational programs, and 2 basic-level vocational programs to meet the needs of learners and businesses; 8 vocational programs were selected and approved as national key programs, and 2-4 vocational programs achieved high-quality training standards.

The goal is to have 1-2 provincial-level scientific research projects and 10-15 university-level scientific research projects and tasks. Each year, the university will establish connections and sign cooperation agreements with 1-2 new businesses to support training, research, and technology transfer...

With high consensus and agreement, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Thanh Hoa Agricultural College, 12th term, 2025-2030, consisting of 15 members.
