Save time and travel costs.
Instead of going to the Commune Public Administrative Service Center, Mr. Phi Van Long from Van Yen village, Mau A commune, went to the BIDV Bank branch in Yen Bai province to register his cinnamon business.

This decision stemmed from the advantages he recognized. Besides being closer to home, going to the bank allowed him to "do many things at once": register his business, open an account, and conduct other online transactions.
With the specific and enthusiastic support and guidance of the BIDV Bank teller, Mr. Long quickly completed the necessary procedures.
Mr. Long happily shared: "I found all the procedures very convenient and quick, and the bank staff enthusiastically guided me through the service registration process."
Creating accounts, electronic verification, and converting paper documents to electronic versions are common "barriers" that deter citizens and businesses from accessing online public services. Recognizing this, the "Online Public Service Agency" at BIDV Yen Bai Branch was established as a useful bridge.

Here, citizens are not only guided in detail through the electronic application process and instructed on how to prepare all necessary documents, but also receive assistance in creating bank accounts when needed. Importantly, all operations, from checking application status to paying fees and charges, can be done right at the counter with the support of staff.
To date, nearly 500 administrative procedures for citizens have been successfully completed here. To encourage people to complete administrative procedures, BIDV Bank has implemented many solutions.
We are constantly improving our facilities and human resources, and promoting communication about public services to operate a more professional model. The bank also has a Zalo group with the Provincial and commune/ward Public Administration Service Centers to promptly answer questions from citizens regarding the use of services through the agent channel.
Expanding the network for receiving public services.
The transaction offices of BIDV Bank's Yen Bai branch have many differences compared to before since the implementation of the "Online Public Service Agency" model. Each transaction office is equipped with a separate desk with full equipment such as computers, scanners, and a sign that reads "Online Public Service Agency," making it easy for people to identify them.
Furthermore, the bank also assigns dedicated staff to be on duty to readily meet any customer needs when they require administrative procedures.

As someone directly assigned to receive and assist citizens and businesses in carrying out online administrative procedures, Ms. Ha Thi Ngoc Anh, an employee of BIDV Bank, Yen Bai Branch, has independently learned and improved her knowledge to perform her assigned duties well; she diligently assists customers in verifying their VNeID accounts and using scanners to submit online applications.
In addition, she also prepares instruction manuals so that customers can operate the device themselves.

Launched at the end of June 2025, the "Online Public Service Agency" model at BIDV Bank Yen Bai Branch offers 10 public services, including: issuing copies of diplomas and certificates from original records; procedures for receiving applications for notification of advertising products on billboards and banners; notification of promotional activities; registration of enterprise labor regulations; amendment and supplementation of certificates of eligibility to operate public electronic game service points; renewal of certificates of eligibility to operate public electronic game service points; registration of business households; temporary suspension of business household operations, resumption of business before the announced deadline; registration of changes to business household registration content and issuance of copies of civil registry extracts.
To ensure the model's effective implementation, the Provincial Public Administration Service Center and BIDV Bank, Yen Bai Branch, have collaborated with local authorities at the locations where online public service agencies are deployed. This collaboration aims to disseminate information about the model to residents and businesses in the area. The goal is to create a widespread network for receiving public services and reduce the workload on provincial and commune-level public administration service centers.
According to Mr. Tran Tri Dung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, the "Online Public Service Agency" model at BIDV Bank, Yen Bai Branch, not only helps people and businesses save time and travel costs but also strongly promotes the application of information technology in socio-economic activities; improves the efficiency of organizations and businesses; and promotes cashless payments in public administrative transactions. This significantly contributes to the digital transformation and modernization of public administration in Lao Cai.
