Vietnamese dealer offers iPhone 15 series cheaper than Apple Store online

After Apple announced the new generation of iPhone and Watch products, Apple authorized retail systems (AAR) in Vietnam such as FPT Shop, CellphoneS, Di Dong Viet, TopZone... also updated the listed selling prices of the products, expected to be delivered from September 29. AAR confirmed that details of the promotion program as well as pre-order time will be announced soon according to Apple's plan.

According to information from the FPT Shop website, as a high-level authorized dealer of Apple, FPT Shop and F.Studio by FPT are among the pioneers to bring genuine new iPhones to Vietnamese users as soon as possible with an expected selling price similar to the listed price of the online Apple Store, but not including the unit's own incentive programs.

Customers can register early and from September 22, 2023, the system will open pre-orders for genuine iPhone 15 series. One of the changes of this AAR this year is the 1-for-1 exchange policy within 12 months. Specifically, within 1 year, if the device in use has a manufacturer defect, the user will be immediately exchanged for a new device similar to the model in use, 100% original seal with a new 12-month warranty period.

The expected price list is similar to that listed at Apple Store Vietnam.

Thus, users will always have a new device instead of having to use a repaired/warranted device, receive up to 23 months of warranty if the product has a manufacturer defect in the 11th month because after exchanging a new device, the warranty period will be 12 months (for this device) and almost no need to wait for warranty, because the process of exchanging a new device only takes 24 hours.

FPT Shop representative expressed expectation that new iPhone sales will grow 20% compared to the previous iPhone 14 series.

At Di Dong Viet - Apple's official authorized dealer in Vietnam, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are expected to cost VND21.49 million and VND24.49 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the high-end duo are expected to cost VND27.49 million and VND33.49 million, respectively, for the 128GB Pro version and the 256GB Pro Max version.

These are all cheaper prices than listed by the online Apple Store in Vietnam.

Ms. Phung Phuong, representative of Mobile World Media, commented: " The upgrades of the iPhone 15 series all focus on the features that users are most interested in, showing that Apple always strives to bring breakthroughs in experience. In particular, this year the colors of the iPhone 15 series divide the customer segment more clearly. The regular version has youthful, dynamic colors, while the high-end duo has a special and classy Titanium color.

With stable and high-end experiences, sales of new iPhone lines have always grown over the years. This is a testament to the large and sustainable demand of the Apple ecosystem. We expect sales of the iPhone 15 series this year to double compared to the previous generation .

Currently, the Pro Max version is of interest to many users, accounting for more than 80% of customers from models in the iPhone 15 series. As usual, the highest-end iPhone versions are always the center of attention in Vietnam as well as Asian markets.

Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, media representative of the CellphoneS system, commented that this year, in addition to the valuable changes in lighter, more durable titanium materials for the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max, the powerful upgrades for the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus lines are expected to help the new product line have a more balanced appeal compared to previous years, when the focus was too much on the two high-end models.

Regarding the selling price of the new product series, there is not much difference compared to the world market price like previous years.

In addition to the listed price, there will be additional incentives for ordering, expected to include subsidies for old products for new products, financial support when paying by credit card, and installment payments. It is expected that in the first 3 weeks, the market will still be short of goods and prices may fluctuate greatly between large chains and small retail stores. After that, the market will have adjustments to stabilize prices and promotions due to full inventory, customers can calmly choose the place to buy with the best incentives as well as the best service ," Mr. Huy assessed.

At the Wonderlust event that took place in the early morning of September 13, Apple introduced the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus duo equipped with Dynamic Island screens instead of rabbit ears. These two products also own the A16 chip and satellite connectivity, similar to the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. The main camera of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is upgraded to 48MP instead of 12MP as before, with 2x zoom and 4K video recording.
