Co.opXtra supermarket expands network

On the morning of October 18th, the Ho Chi Minh City Commercial Cooperative Union ( Saigon Co.op ) officially launched Co.opXtra Long Binh – the 5th member of its hypermarket segment. Co.opXtra is the result of a joint venture between Saigon Co.op and NTUC Fairprice – a leading cooperative from Singapore, serving as a hub for importing goods into the domestic market and exporting Vietnamese goods to international markets.

Co.opXtra Long Bình is located on the 2nd floor of Vincom Mega Mall in Vinhomes Grand Park urban area (Phuoc Thien Street, Long Binh Ward, Thu Duc City).

Vietnamese products account for over 80% of the goods sold at Co.opXtra.

Immediately following this event, Saigon Co.op continued to open and put into operation its 6th hypermarket in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City.

The consecutive opening of Co.opXtra stores is a special activity of Saigon Co.op to celebrate its 35th anniversary, and also to prepare for activities serving the upcoming peak business season at the end of the year.

Xtrabot attracted customers on its first day of launch.
