To expedite the completion of border demarcation and monument placement on the land border between Vietnam and Cambodia, Kien Giang province has requested the central government to soon approve the continuation of negotiations with Cambodia to resolve the 16% of the uncompleted border demarcation and monument placement along the land border between Vietnam and Cambodia, including the remaining border area in Kien Giang province from marker 296 to marker 300.

Comrade Le Hai Binh, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, emphasized: It is necessary to continue to enhance the role, effectiveness, content, and methods of propaganda work; promote external information and propaganda activities, including propaganda in Khmer and the languages of ethnic minorities in the Vietnam-Cambodia border region.

At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen attention to training, improving the capacity and qualifications, and providing material resources for propaganda forces, especially grassroots propagandists such as village elders, hamlet chiefs, and influential people in the community. Further promote the role of the government, all levels of the population at the grassroots level, village elders, hamlet chiefs, and border guards in border areas as focal points for disseminating and guiding information.
