Speed ​​up the progress of the project to repair the roadbed and surface on National Highway 49

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of October 24, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh chaired a working session with relevant departments, branches and sectors to speed up the progress of the project to repair the roadbed, surface and works on National Highway 49.

The project to repair the roadbed, road surface and works of the section Km89 + 754 ÷ Km101 + 300/QL.49, was approved by the Vietnam Road Administration with a total investment of more than 99 billion VND; the project implementation period is 2023 - 2024 according to the assigned capital plan and the project has been adjusted to 2023 - 2025.

According to the report of the investor representative - Project Management Board 4, up to now, the construction area is 3.49km/11.26km; the remaining 7.77km is stuck in site clearance. Currently, the contractor is implementing 11 construction points including excavation, culvert construction, retaining wall construction, slope reinforcement construction, and structural casting.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh commented that the construction progress of the Project is currently slow due to many difficulties in site clearance, so units and localities need to focus on speeding up this work. Urgently complete the measurement, inventory, and preparation of compensation and support records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations; apply compensation prices publicly, transparently, and closely to reality, creating consensus among the people.

At the same time, continue to promote propaganda and mobilization so that the community clearly understands the project's policies and benefits, and hands over the site on time; promptly grasp and resolve arising problems, and avoid prolonged backlogs.

Site clearance is a key task that needs to be implemented resolutely, synchronously, publicly and transparently, contributing to the early completion of the route, meeting the requirements of traffic infrastructure development and serving the people.

Regarding some problems caused by electric poles and forest land during construction, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh requested relevant units and construction units to coordinate more closely to speed up progress.
