This batch of boars imported to Vietnam includes many superior breeds, but the most notable are the carefully selected TN Duroc and TN Tempo boars, aiming to produce generations of breeding pigs with outstanding characteristics such as rapid growth, good feed conversion ratio, and high adaptability to the farming environment in Vietnam.
The boars are then imported to the GenCen breeding center from the nucleus farms in Dombras and Brouennes, France - where De Heus feed is used to raise top-quality pig lines.

Recently, De Heus Vietnam continued to import a batch of breeding boars from Topigs Norsvin Group to Vietnam.
Every shipment, every small step, is geared towards a larger goal: De Heus is constantly striving to elevate Vietnam's livestock industry, bringing high efficiency and sustainable profits to farmers.
The Gencen boar semen center, a subsidiary of De Heus Vietnam, covers an area of nearly 29,000 square meters, with a breeding area of 1,004 square meters comprising 4 rows of pens, 4 semen collection pens, and a processing room. The center's equipment is state-of-the-art, imported directly from the Netherlands according to international standards. The center was established in 2015 in Tan Uyen district ( Binh Duong province).
In addition to their rapid growth rate and good feed conversion ratio, Topigs Norsvin Duroc and Topigs Norsvin Tempo boars also have a high adaptability to the farming environment in Vietnam.
In particular, the laboratory at the Gencen Center is always directly supervised by a team of experienced experts from Spain, along with advanced equipment for preserving boar semen and measuring sperm density, to help ensure that the quality of the product is always at its best when distributed to the market.
Previously, in May 2024, De Heus Genetics also imported a batch of superior genetic boars from Topigs Norsvin Group (Canada) and brought them to Vietnam by chartered plane. This batch of boars was transported to De Heus's Gencen center in Binh Duong and the Dak Lak farm, where they received special care in a modern farm environment. The boar semen was then used in experimental production under the direct supervision of experts and subjected to rigorous safety checks for PRRS, Mycoplasma, APP, ASF, and CSF.

Every year, De Heus Genetics imports breeding pigs to Vietnam to ensure continuous improvement in genetic quality, contributing to the production of high-quality breeding stock for farmers.
By consistently importing breeding pigs, De Heus Genetics ensures continuous and sustainable improvement in genetic quality, keeping up with market trends and contributing to providing superior genetic resources that create high-quality breeding stock for Vietnamese farmers.
This is a crucial link in De Heus Genetics' long-term development strategy and commitment to providing the best pig breeds to the Vietnamese market.
In the future, De Heus hopes to bring more high-quality boar and sow breeds to Vietnam to meet the needs of customers nationwide, aiming for sustainable livestock farming.
