As of the afternoon of July 19th, approximately 30 universities had announced their minimum admission scores for various admission methods. The most common methods include considering high school graduation exam scores, academic transcripts, and aptitude tests.
The minimum admission score, or threshold for quality assurance, is the minimum score a university sets for accepting applications. Only candidates whose exam scores meet or exceed this minimum score are eligible to register for preliminary admission.
This year, in particular, some majors have minimum qualifying scores for certain subjects in the entrance exam, such as integrated circuit design or law. Candidates who meet the total score but have scores below the minimum in the qualifying subjects will not be considered.
Currently, only a few universities have announced the minimum admission scores based on high school graduation exam results. Many universities are expected to announce their minimum scores on July 21st and 23rd.
Candidates can begin registering their college application preferences from 16:00 to 17:00 on July 28th.
