On October 25th, the launch event for the 18-episode reality TV show "Superstar School" took place in Hanoi. It is scheduled to air on October 30th on channels such as HTV7, QPVN, SCTV6, and Hanoi Television . Artists like Lam Vy Da, Hoang Yen Chibi, Gin Tuan Kiet, Thanh Duy, Hai Dang Doo, and Huynh Lap will play the roles of teachers accompanying the children on their learning, experiences, and growth journey.

Actress Lam Vy Da shared with VietNamNet reporters about her new role: "In this program, I not only play with the children but also take care of them, feeding them, putting them to sleep, and helping them with challenges. But the biggest challenge comes from the children themselves because each child is a unique individual, full of energy and emotions."

I'm strict, while Mr. Dat is lenient.

Speaking about parenting, Lam Vy Da admitted that she is stricter than her husband, actor Hua Minh Dat: "I discipline our children more, while Dat is gentler and more soft-spoken. When our children make mistakes, I usually analyze right and wrong clearly, while Dat chooses to talk to them, sometimes even getting emotional to the point of crying."

The actress also admitted to hitting her child just once, and that's what she regrets the most: "At that time, my child was crying because she didn't want me to go to work. I accidentally hit her once, and then I couldn't sleep all night, crying with regret. From then on, I promised I would never use corporal punishment again. I think people only resort to violence when they are helpless, and I don't want to be that kind of mother."

Lam Vy Da's two sons, Banh Mi and Xa Xi, have very different personalities. "Banh Mi is calm and says 'yes' to everything, while Xa Xi is straightforward, does what he likes immediately, and says what he doesn't like right away. Each of them has their own unique style, so we have to be flexible in how we interact with them," she shared.

When asked about her eldest son's adolescence, Lam Vy Da admitted it was a challenging period: "Banh Mi changed very quickly, from an active child to a quiet, reserved one. At times, I was shocked because it felt like a young man had suddenly appeared in the house. But then I understood that he was growing up and I had to learn to accompany him and be more patient. At this age, children want to prove themselves and need to be trusted."

Although both parents work in the entertainment industry, Lam Vy Da doesn't intend for her child to pursue a career in the arts. "I only hope my child studies hard, lives a friendly life, and knows how to share. Whatever profession they choose later, I will respect it. What's important is that they succeed based on their own abilities," she said.

Her two sons have participated in several game shows with their parents and received much affection from the audience. However, Lam Vy Da revealed: "My children only like to participate when their parents are playing with them. They are not confident enough to appear on their own. I also limit their exposure to social media to avoid pressure and preserve their innocent childhood."

As her children grew older, Lam Vy Da proactively reduced her workload: "Before, I accepted many shows, but now I'm more selective. I want to spend more time with my children. They're also grown up and have their own feelings, so I have to be even more mindful when appearing in public."

When asked if she would accept an offer to film a steamy scene, Lam Vy Da humorously replied: "I doubt anyone would offer! With my appearance, an offer would be a failure from the start."

After getting married, I became gentler.

According to the actress, Hua Minh Dat is easily moved, especially when his children do something wrong or repeat old mistakes: "If he talks to his children and they still don't listen, he immediately bursts into tears."

Not only with their child, but Hứa Minh Đạt also once broke down in tears during arguments with his wife. Lâm Vỹ Dạ recounted: "Every time we argue, I tend to talk a lot while he rarely argues back. Sometimes, when I say something, he gets so angry he doesn't know what to say that he... cries. I find it funny, a little cruel, but thinking back, I feel sorry for him."

Lam Vy Da admitted that her and her husband's personalities are completely opposite: she is hot-tempered, straightforward, and strict, while Hua Minh Dat is calm, affectionate, and patient. This very contrast helps them balance their family life.

"Dat always chooses a gentle approach with his wife and children, while I'm stronger and more assertive. But thanks to that, there's always someone soft and someone firm to balance things out at home. Sometimes when I see him cry, I feel sorry for him, because I know he's a very emotional person who always puts his wife and children first," she recounted.

Despite being married for over 10 years and having two sons, Lam Vy Da and Hua Minh Dat's relationship is still admired by many colleagues and fans. The actress jokingly said: "In the past, I was very strong-willed and stubborn, but I changed completely after getting married. Thanks to my husband and two children, I've become much more feminine and gentle. Family has made me mature and peaceful."

Lam Vy Da's son and the Salim couple will be voicing completely new characters appearing exclusively in the upcoming Doraemon movie, "Doraemon: Nobita and the Adventure into the World in the Picture Book".
