At noon on April 3rd, a delegation from the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, led by Mr. Seng Aloun Boutsady, Deputy Director of the Department of Continuing Education of Laos, visited and worked at the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center of Lao Cai City.
Accompanying them were leaders and specialists from the Department of Continuing Education and continuing education centers of the provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The Vietnamese delegation was received by representatives from the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs ; the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Lao Cai province, along with teachers from the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center of Lao Cai city and several districts in the province.

During the working session, the delegation from the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports learned about the vocational education and continuing education model of Lao Cai city, and vocational training for rural workers...
The Lao Cai City Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center is responsible for vocational training, continuing education, and employment services within the city. Regarding vocational training, the center's functions include providing basic-level vocational training and courses lasting less than three months, organizing training courses for workers, and coordinating student recruitment and collaborative training programs at the intermediate and college levels.


Regarding continuing education, the center organizes cultural classes for grades 10, 11, and 12, and also organizes training and professional development programs including: foreign language and applied computer science training programs; career guidance and vocational training; and professional development training based on learners' needs…


During the meeting, representatives from the Lao Cai Department of Education and Training and the delegation from the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Lao People's Democratic Republic introduced the education sector of their respective localities and countries. They also affirmed that the visit and working session helped both sides better understand each other's educational activities and models, thereby leading to support programs and cooperation for mutual development.
The program is also a meaningful activity that deepens the relationship between the Lao People's Democratic Republic and Vietnam, fostering a lasting and ever-growing friendship.



During the program, the delegation from the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports also visited classrooms, practice rooms, and vocational training facilities at the Lao Cai City Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center.
