The delegation of National Assembly deputies from Dak Lak province met with constituents after the Tenth Session of the 12th National Assembly, focusing on supporting people in overcoming the consequences of floods and stabilizing production.

On the afternoon of December 12th, the Dak Lak Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies held a meeting with voters following the Tenth Session of the 15th National Assembly. The meeting was held at the main venue No. 1 and connected online to 68 communes and wards in the province, ensuring a large number of voters participated.

Informing voters, representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation stated: The Tenth Session, held over 40 days, was conducted with a spirit of innovation, seriousness, and responsibility, and successfully completed its entire agenda. This session held special significance, further affirming the National Assembly 's determination to improve the quality of legislation, concretize the Party's major policies, create a smooth legal framework for development, and place the interests of the people at the center of all decisions.

During the session, the National Assembly passed 51 laws and 39 resolutions, including 8 normative legal resolutions – a very large volume of legislation, accounting for nearly 30% of the total number of documents for the entire term. Many laws play a role in removing institutional "bottlenecks," unlocking social resources, and expanding development space in the fields of economics , society, science, technology, digital transformation, and administrative reform.

Besides legislative work, the National Assembly also considers and decides on many important issues concerning the budget, public investment, national target programs, and personnel matters within its jurisdiction.

The delegation of National Assembly deputies from Dak Lak province actively researched and contributed 9 opinions in the plenary session and 48 speeches in group meetings on major issues of the session. Many of the delegation's proposals focused on issues facing the locality such as: transportation infrastructure; the operational efficiency of agricultural and forestry companies; the socialization of waste treatment; the disbursement of public investment capital; and contents in draft laws of public concern.

In addition to parliamentary activities, the Delegation also mobilized social resources to support people affected by natural disasters with a total value of over 34 billion VND.

At the conference, voters in Dak Lak province expressed their confidence in the results of the session and raised many issues directly related to people's lives. Notable among these were requests for investment in essential transportation routes; addressing the encroachment on sidewalks and roads; improving residential land planning; and streamlining procedures for granting business licenses for conditional industries.

Voters also suggested strengthening control over online advertising activities and protecting personal data; continuing to promote the prevention and control of drug abuse, corruption, and negative practices; unifying guidelines on the organization of the Elderly Association at the commune level; and implementing solutions for the safe management of electric motorcycles, electric bicycles, and homemade vehicles.

The issues raised by voters were discussed and addressed by Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religion Y Vinh Tơr and leaders of relevant departments and agencies, within their authority, helping voters better understand current policies and legal regulations.

Deputy Head of the Dak Lak Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet, respectfully thanked the voters for their heartfelt and responsible opinions, affirming that these are important foundations for the Delegation to continue to effectively perform its representative and supervisory functions. The Delegation will continue to fully compile and forward these opinions to the relevant authorities for consideration; the issues that have been explained by the departments and agencies will be further communicated to the people.

Expressing deep sympathy for the losses suffered by the Party Committee, government, and people of Dak Lak province during the recent floods, Deputy Head of the Standing Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Dak Lak province, Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet, requested that localities proactively allocate resources and focus on supporting people to overcome the consequences, stabilize production and livelihoods, and strive to achieve the development goals for 2025.

Regarding the information that this is the final National Assembly Delegation meeting of the 15th term, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet, stated that the election of National Assembly deputies for the 16th term and People's Council representatives at all levels for the 2026-2031 term will take place on March 15, 2026. On behalf of the Delegation, she expressed her sincere gratitude for the companionship and trust of the Party Committee, the government, and the voters throughout the term; and affirmed that outstanding recommendations will continue to be monitored and addressed "regardless of the position held," in order to meet the expectations of the people and fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party and the State.
