The Provincial Party Standing Committee's monitoring delegation worked with the Department of Industry and Trade

On August 18, the Supervisory Delegation of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, chaired by Comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Head of the Supervisory Delegation, held a working session with the Department of Industry and Trade on the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Resolution No. 21/NQ-TU dated January 25, 2022 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XIV, on strengthening the Party's leadership in the management and effective use of land, mineral resources (TNKS), and environmental protection (BVMT) until 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Attending the event were comrade Chamaléa Thi Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, relevant departments, branches and units.

In recent times, the work of land management, use, natural resources and environmental protection has been led and directed by the Party Committee and leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade to be implemented and achieved positive results. The unit has implemented solutions to build and develop the industrial sector in a modern, integrated and environmentally friendly direction. The updating, registration, allocation of land use quotas and land allocation for energy projects and industrial cluster infrastructure projects have been well implemented, contributing to putting the projects into operation on schedule, contributing to the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, responding to climate change and protecting the environment. The Department has supported the formation of a number of high-tech agricultural farms serving the processing industry; a number of processing enterprises have invested in innovating and synchronizing equipment and technology to create high-quality products, effectively applying post-harvest preservation technology to serve product processing, business, production and processing linkages, building agricultural product brands and forming commodity value chains. The rate of industrial clusters with centralized wastewater treatment systems is 100%. Industrial production projects all invest in waste treatment systems, ensuring that waste discharge meets standards before being discharged into the environment. Polluting production activities no longer exist in residential areas.

Comrade Tran Minh Luc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

Concluding the working session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the efforts and sense of responsibility of the Party Committee of the Department of Industry and Trade in leading, directing and effectively implementing the TNKS and BVMT in the past time. He requested the Party Committee and leaders of the unit to continue to strengthen the leadership and direction to effectively implement the tasks and targets set out in Resolution No. 21/NQ-TU; review and evaluate specific goals, targets and tasks under the functions and management of the industry; analyze and clarify difficulties, obstacles and causes, to have solutions to overcome and implement well. Focus on propagating and disseminating the Party's policies and legal regulations on land, TNKS and BVMT. Review the infrastructure of industrial clusters to have solutions to upgrade and improve to attract investment. Pay attention to managing mineral exploitation; ensure the environment in markets. Strengthening the application of digital technology to improve the quality of management activities in the fields of natural resources and environment protection, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set forth in Resolution No. 21/NQ-TU.
