The Central Steering Committee for Project 354's survey delegation worked with the Provincial Party Committee on ethnic and religious affairs.

On the morning of July 18th, the survey team of the Central Steering Committee for Project 354, led by Mr. Do Van Phoi, Deputy Head of the Central Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, held a working session with the Provincial Party Committee on the situation of ethnic and religious affairs in the province. Receiving and working with the team were: Mr. Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Chamaléa Thi Thuy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Mass Mobilization Department; and Mr. Dao Trong Dinh, Head of the Provincial Internal Affairs Department.

During the working session, the survey team, together with provincial leaders and relevant departments and agencies, exchanged views and gained insight into the leadership, direction, and implementation of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on ethnic groups and religions in the province from 2020 to the present; the current situation and causes of emerging issues in the field of ethnic groups and religions; mass mobilization work in ethnic and religious communities and the results of resolving emerging issues by relevant functional agencies and localities; difficulties, obstacles, experiences, and forecasts of the situation, as well as proposed tasks and solutions for ethnic and religious affairs in the coming period.

Comrade Do Van Phoi, Deputy Head of the Central Committee's Mass Mobilization Department and Head of the Survey Team of the Central Steering Committee for Project 354, delivered a speech at the working session.

Speaking at the working session, Comrade Do Van Phoi, Deputy Head of the Central Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, highly appreciated the results of leadership, direction, and implementation in the field of ethnic and religious affairs in Ninh Thuan province. He noted that the province has closely followed the Central Committee's leadership guidelines, contributing to the improvement and enhancement of the lives of the people in the province in general, and the people in ethnic and religious communities in particular; and maintaining political security and social order in the area. Looking ahead, he requested that local Party committees and authorities strengthen coordination to continue effectively implementing ethnic and religious policies; and implement the resolutions and directives of the Politburo on ethnic and religious affairs in the new situation in a synchronized manner throughout the province. He also urged the province to build upon its achievements, develop effective mass mobilization models, and continue to provide close, proactive, and timely leadership and direction in addressing emerging issues.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee thanked the Central Steering Committee for Project 354 for selecting Ninh Thuan province to survey and assess the practical situation of ethnic and religious affairs. The survey also provided guidance on several solutions to help the locality implement these measures effectively and appropriately in the new context. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee seriously considered the proposals and recommendations of the survey team, and will continue to lead, direct, and organize their implementation to maintain political stability, social order and security, promote economic development, and improve the lives of people in ethnic and religious communities in the province.
