Central interdisciplinary survey delegation works with Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department

The province currently has 297 educational and training facilities; of which, there are 88 kindergartens, 124 primary schools, 61 secondary schools, 22 high schools and 2 centers. 65/65 communes, wards and towns have met the standards for eliminating illiteracy level 1; 7/7 districts and cities have met the standards for universalizing preschool education for 5-year-old children, universalizing primary education at the right age and completing universalizing secondary education. 46/65 "learning communities" at the commune, ward and town levels are classified as good. The province has also issued a Project to develop a team of teachers and educational managers to meet the requirements for implementing the 2018 General Education Program. However, currently, the teacher/class ratio has not met the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , the whole province still lacks 873 teachers at all levels and grades; facilities have not met the requirements...

Speaking at the meeting, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department emphasized: Human resource development is an important task, so Ninh Thuan province always pays attention to investing in facilities, training teachers and managers to improve the quality of education and training. Many localities and units have good models and effective ways to promote learning, encourage talents, and build a learning society to promptly support students in difficult circumstances.

On behalf of the working delegation, comrade Le Huy Nam, Director of the Department of Education, Central Propaganda Department highly appreciated the achievements of Ninh Thuan province in the past time. In the coming time, the province needs to pay more attention to the work of encouraging learning, encouraging talents, building a learning society; focus on implementing well the work of streaming, career guidance, vocational training; contributing to the development of human resources of the province. Continue to implement and thoroughly grasp Conclusion 91-KL/TW dated August 12, 2024 of the Politburo . The survey delegation received opinions, proposals and recommendations of the province to report to competent authorities for consideration and resolution of difficulties and problems related to facilities, lack of teachers, etc.
